- Port Melbourne private practice and the flexibility to work from home (in-time)

Melbourne Occupational Therapy Services Pty Ltd specialise in providing home based OT services for adult NDIS participants who have physical disabilities.
The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity is currently available for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our supportive team.
Located in Port Melbourne, you will travel to meet with NDIS participants within a 40 min driving-radius of our base.

Requirements
Essential:
- Experience working with adults with physical disabilities and challenges
- Full AHPRA registration
- Current valid drivers licence and reliable vehicle
- Empathetic mindset
- Proficient with technology
Desirable:
- 2+ years of clinical experience
- Experience working within the NDIS system
- Experience in major home modifications
- Experience in MAT assessments and wheelchair prescription
- Postgraduate qualifications as an Occupational Therapy Driving Assessor
- Experience with Assistive Technology/Equipment prescription
Responsibilities
- Travel to clients homes for assessments and therapy sessions
- Regularly research equipment
- Accurate photos and drawings to facilitate home modifications
- Attain quotes from suppliers and contractors
- Complete detailed and accurate NDIS applications and reports
- Manage/maintain your booking diary
- Accurate and confidential record keeping
- Meet KPIs
- Communication with your clients and team
- Exceptional communication skills
